Effective staff engagement is a UK business imperative according to the 2009 McLeod report.  We’re looking for a multi-skilled media professional with proven experience to help us align our internal communications with our external image.  Working with the Director, Communications, you will play a strong part in developing effective communications systems, including our intranet, with professionals from within the group and with colleagues throughout the university.

You will need to have strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to service the needs of internal clients.  You will need significant IT skills and experience of web/intranet authoring in a variety of environments.  A degree level education along with a specialist or professional qualification in internal communications or journalism and experience of intranet content, editing and management are essential.
